I am thinking about using "Before Five in a Row" with my 4 and 2 year olds. I have not yet looked at a copy of the book (I'm in the "hold" line for it from my library system). In the meantime, can someone who has used this tell me if the books can be studied in any particular order or if they should be studied in the order they're listed in the "Before Five in a Row" book? (I ask because I wonder if I could get by with just borrowing the books from my library system, and they may not always come available in the order in which "Before Five in a Row" lists them.)

You can definitely use them in any order you like. I did happen to buy most of the 'Before FIAR' books and I'm glad that I did because my kids love them so much. However with FIAR we order books from the library all the time.
