Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

On another thread someone mentioned (Irene?) Scholastic Book Club. Can someone direct me to a link to sign up? I didn't see any options for homeschooler on their website.

Thanks,

Natalia

I didn't find an option for homeschoolers either, but just signed us up under the regular school section. There is a part where you can write in your school's name. Then they send you a confirmation email. Eventually through the process you have an option to write in homeschooler. I just wrote that I had ten in my class since I could always potentially give order forms away. A Scholastic rep ended up calling me to confirm we were homeschooling because I wasn't in the computer right. Another option would be to call them. I order from Firefly, See Saw, Trumpet (which in my opinion are the three best) and also Arrow. BEWARE! There is tons of junk mixed with the good! Hope it goes okay. I placed a huge order and now have lots of bonus points to spend.

I also forgot to mention that the paperback books are very papery, not that harder card stock like you'd buy in a store and it is geared toward the classroom teacher so the good deals go with a larger quantity order.

Thank you Sarah,

I endep up calling Costumer Service and they told me to send a letter with our homeschool information so that they can give me an account number and enter us in the system. I'll try to remember to do that.
Thanks for the info,
Natalia
