Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I know this is ridiculous, but...

We lost the cover of our Miss SPiders' Tea Party book and with the note about the author it says that there really is a flower eating spider. My kids want to look this up. They want to know if its real.

I've had no luck searching on the internet.

Could somebody please give me the name of this arachnid?

Thanks very much

I just went to look at mine...I guess I've taken off the cover too! Sorry! I 'll hope someone else is more organized than me!

For anyone interested:

Arachne vulgaris florivora (common flower eating spider)

It a fictional species! Too bad.

I found it at the library today!
