Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My 10 yo and I have discussed the unseen spiritual battle that goes on around us every day. The election and our discussions on abortion brought this on.
He is very passionate about using our greatest weapon (the rosary) to defeat our enemy.
I'm looking for a book that will paint in a fantastical way the spiritual battle. Particularly with the Christian advancing on his enemy when there is no outward evidence that that sacrifice/prayer/novena really had any effect or mattered or furthered our cause. I want to give my son a visual image of the unseen spiritual warfare and how our decisions to do good affect the outcome.
Does a book like this exist?

The first thing that pops in my head is Father Corapi's series on spiritual warfare - excellent!

Is there a good book on the spiritual battle between the Angels and devils? Tan has one but I haven't read it yet. Also, the Fr. Finn books are good if you haven't had him read those yet. He gives allusion the internal war and the effecacy of prayer sometimes unseen. I have started St. Louis' book on the Rosary with my bunch and it inspires some good conversations. Otherwise, I'd like to find the same kind of book that you are looking for.

This is probably a bit "young" for the 10 yo, but I'm mentioning it here, as it is a good book/resource.

The Great Battle for Heaven: A Catholic Activity Book.

It's an activity book for the 5-9 yo crowd. But, I'm mentioning it here because the first 5 pages is a great read-aloud and captivating. About Lucifer and the battle for heaven, the Holy Angels, etc. And, then the rest of it are activiites about angels, ST. Michael, etc.
