Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Much like this thread, I am looking for a thanksgiving themed novel for a similar group. Suggestions?

That one looks great but it says it's for ages 4-8 and most of our kids are 9-13. Does anyone know if the recommended reading level on Amazon is accurate?

It's not a novel but what about Thank you, Sarah: The Woman Who Saved Thanksgiving?

I'd love to find a copy of An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving by Louisa May Alcott this year.

Clyde Robert Bulla's A Lion to Guard Us, if you worked up lessons would be okay.

You could go with a Sister's in Time novel like Mayflower Adventure.

I think we are going to go with A Lion to Guard Us. We just read Adam of the Road which was about a little boy so I think a little girl's story will be appreciated by the girls in the group.
