Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have just finished reading one of the Bethlehem Books budegt books - three stories in one volume.

It is "The Drover's Road Collection - Three Adventures in New Zealand" by Joyce West. These are good tales of country life in New Zealand in the 1950s/1960s.

Really enjoyable! I could also see many possible rabbit trails - sheep, geography, New Zealand, the Maori people, farm life...

Leonie, would these be suitable for a 10yo and a 7yo? We are somewhere in South America at the moment (Peru), but will be moving on to Australia and New Zealand after Christmas.

Definitely suitable for the ten year old - but may not hold the interest of the seven year old. Seven year olds vary so much, don't they?

Thanks Leonie! Hannah can either listen in or wander off
