I found this book called "Birdbrain Amos" at the library and my boys loved it. They both read it in two days and laughed out loud. I'm going to read it to our five year old. This is what it says on the inside cover:

     "Poor Amos. He wants a tick bird to eat the pesky bugs off his back, like all the other hippos have. But when Amos hires one and tells her to make herself at home, she does. Before he knows it, the little bird has built a nest on Amos's head and laid three eggs!
      A baby shower on his back. The other hippos laughing at him. It is all too much! But he can't just fire the tick bird-not after her eggs hatch and the littlest baby thinks Amos is her daddy. What is a hippy to do?"

I'd love to get the sequal "Birdbrain Amos, Mr Fun" for the boys' birthday.
