I'd love a review of This Country of Ours and perhaps how it compares to the Landmark History book used in Sonlight 3?? We truly LOVE Our Island Story and presume it's a similar format for US History. Thanks for any replies

We tried using TCOO twice, but it was too heavy for my 1-3rd graders so we switched to From Sea to Shining Sea. We have enjoyed FSTSS. That said, TCOO is in the same mode as an Island Story so if you liked IS, you would probably like TCOO :-) If you are interested in seeing it I would be happy to send you mine to take a look.

I definitely KWYM re online reading and printing. I tried that for the first year. I have to gave a good hard copy. If you are sure you want it I will sell you my spiral bound copy.
