Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Here is my 2008 personal
plan for reading
I studied all of last years posts and took notes and went to Amazon based on reccomendations I found here and came up with this. Thanks for all the inspiration and I will be sure to review all these books here, when I complete them!

Navy Mom,

Thanks for sharing your reading plan. I've read so many good books based on reviews from the ladies here.

I hope to update my blog reviews of the various books I've read since August. I, too, have a reading plan, a lofty one at that.

Heidi and Mare!

I would love to hear an update............what have you read on your list?

Do you feel hampered or FREE due to having a list?

Was your list reasonable?

I just started a "wish list" on my blog....I named it "Literary Delights Await"

I hope that is okay, Mare.....it was your title I got it from. If you prefer I not use it.....let me know....I won't be offended. I promise! I have been trying to come up with something clever all weekend,,,,,,,,,all I could think of was "A Literary Bent"

Just thinking of you........

Hi Chari,

Yes, feel free to use that title.

I'm using the list of books b/c I just needed to have a starting point. I've found that my list has evolved to meet my own "rabbit trails." I've changed some of the genres and some of the book titles along the way. I have saved my original list of books so that I can get to them someday.

I think that I've read half of the books on my list. I'm not sure that I'll get to all 64 books since my summer reading may go off on another trail.

I have not followed my list exactly but do refer back to it often. I just put a book on hold at my library from the list...I hope to catch up this summer.
My lists always end up taking turns I was not expecting and I am also constantly making new lists...
