I wasn't able to see Diane Craft in person at the conference I had hoped to attend, but I did order the tapes. I am sure my son has a dysgraphia, which means he has trouble with what she calls the Visual/Motor Gate. He still, at 11, occasionally reverses letters and hates to write, has poor spacing and sloppy penmanship. I think he also has some attention/focusing issues.

I am finding her talks very informative, but I was wondering about which of her books/dvds/cds anyone here might have be able to recommend what I should start with.

Any thoughts?

If you look carefully on her website - there is a $40 manual that has all of her exercises in it. But when I called her to ask, she simply e-mailed me pertinent exercises. If you are a member of HSLDA, you may call and ask to speak to her and she will speak to you for about 1 hour. She is one of their special needs coordinators. That might save you money and I'm sure she'd be way more qualified to tell you which things to order. She seemed very much into saving me money, honestly.
