Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I know this sounds silly but has anyone ever seen a children's book about the catacombs. My special blessing son was reading a little about them in a small reading selection in a Reading Comprehension book. He was interested in learning more, but his reading abilities aren't too great. I don't know if there are any children's books dealing with this subject. Probably not, but if anyone would know, it would probably be someone here.

Mary Ann, were you meaning picture books? I can't think of any picture books.

But of a child's reading book, Fabiola - it is a lovely Catholic children's book about the early Roman martyrs and so the catacombs get quite a bit of mention from memory!

It is mentioned in this unit study here and this unit study has a link to Neumann Press, where you can purchase it.

Here is a description of the book Fabiola, I tried to add the link but the address would not come up for some strange reason.

Fabiola description wrote:
Book Description

The reader will find himself thrust into ancient Rome at a time when the early Christians were being killed and tortured for their Faith. Weaving their way through the vast tunnels of the Catacombs, these truly courageous men and women worshipped the One, True God and prayed at the tombs of the martyred saints buried there.
St. Agnes, as well as Saints Sebastian and Pancratius, are among the many familiar names in this excellent and spellbinding novel.
Experience the thoughts of the Romans towards the Christians, the heroism of the martyrs, and the touching relationship, among other sub-plots, between a servant and her mistress. An excellent example for all Catholics in the modern world.

Just found another link and adding it to this post, it is not Neumann Press but Lepanto Press that are the publishers, here is another write up that is a bit more in-depth.
