I ordered some while I was on a Byzantine site ordering beeswax votive candles. Now, I'm wondering why I did that...

We used some at Epiphany. Our Father's House has a little censor we used when Father walked through the house and blessed it...but I'm thinking of other ideas maybe during prayer time with a home censor from the Byzantine sites.

We use incense when we bless the house on epiphany. We also use it sometimes when praying or when we feel the house needs more than just holy water in each room. We used it at our all saint’s day party while singing the litany of saints. It went over quite well

I actually was able to scoot my desktop close enough to the edge of the desk to see the screen from my sickbed. Thanks to a wireless mouse and keyboard, I may not have to loose complete touch with the world during my time of bed rest. 
We use incense in our home regularly. We have a hand censer and use self-lighting charcoal and incense from various monasteries. Psalm 140 is the best reminder of the purpose of incense. It is a means of incorporating all of our senses (all of our being) into our worship and is a visual reminder of our prayers rising to God. "Let my prayer be set forth as incense before Thee, the lifting up of my hands as an evening sacrifice."
It is our practice to burn incense at sunset on Saturday, liturgically speaking, the first moments of Sunday. Doug walks through the house with the censer and makes the sign of the cross with it in each room and before all of our Icons. It is a type of weekly house blessing.
We also burn incense if we are offering specific prayers for a particular intention or in honor of a saint on different feast days.

I'm new around here, but just wanted to add to the incense question since I love burning it in my house. The aroma is so sweet and it makes the whole house smell like a sanctuary.
I use incense sticks that I buy in one month supplies (30 days) from www.cukierski.net. It's a website run as a catholic family apostolate by a homeschooling family with 11 kids. They have many rare sacramentals and everything you purchase can be blessed by a priest before they send it to you.
I try to burn some incense almost every morning or evening either as a way to start our day on a prayerful note or to end it on a peaceful one!
