I thought maybe we could send a care package to soldiers fighting in Iraq, or Afghanistan, or anywhere else in the world.

Thank you, Dawn, for the reminder. I had no idea it was Our Lady of Peace today. A dear young homeschooler just went to boot camp 5 weeks ago, and we've been meaning to send him a package. Today would be a great day.

Ruth, that is a great idea. I was thinking, if it hasn't already been done, just to learn the Latin hymn, "Dona Nobis Pacem". My daughter loves this and sings it almost every night.
