Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have links to book lists/plans for what others have done to prepare their children for Confirmation? I'm preparing my first child for Confirmation and it's just not "coming alive" yet. I'd like to use real books to plant some seeds of enthusiasum for both of us. Thanks for any leads!

Hmmm...we didn't use this for Confirmation per se but how about A Philadelphia Catholic in King James Court?
Also, I'm reading St. Patrick's Summer with a 10 y.o. but it really gives some great explanations for our faith.

Here is an in-depth list compiled by Elizabeth: Real Learning: Resource List for Confirmation Preparation.

I don't think you'll find too many stones left unturned there!

THANK YOU! This is just the sort of thing I was looking for. And thanks Elizabeth for compiling that list.

Also I found a used copy of A Philadelphia Catholic ..... on Amazon and had it within days. Many of the other books we already have on the shelves. Don't you love it when you can just go shopping in your own library to pull an excellent unit together?!
