I feel late to the party, but the weather is finally cooling off here and I'm getting together with local friends at our weekly PE gathering. I brought Catholic Mosaic with me and WOW was it a hit! I'll be bringing it back next week because not everyone got to see it (some were book hogs, lol.) From the discussion:

Would there be list of book titles already assembled to bring to the library?

Could we link certain virtues to monthly/seasonal readings?

Could we link bible verses to the readings?

OK, I'll stop there but be ready for me to be back with more next week. Later today, I'll send the purchasing info. to our local yahoogroup again and the link to this forum. Hopefully, I'll be able to read through all the threads here within the next week or two and get caught up with the fun .

I am most eager to hear if anyone has a compilation of the virtues that go with each month/season. It would be interesting to incorporate these.

There are some bible verses included with some of the books as copywork.

I do hope your whole family gets caught up in the fun.
Really, isn't our Catholic faith so much FUN when you truly understand it and live it.

HAs anyone found books or kept a compilation of books that go with various virtues?

I'm bumping this up because I'm at work on this right now. Faith and Family asked me to write a feature article on this very subject!   

They would like recommendations for:
younger children and
older children

I'm all ears (or eyes rather ). Any recommendations?
