Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Cay,

Dh and I were just reading through The Monk Who Grew in Prayer. I was curious about the publisher, Conciliar Press. I saw that they had publish a few more children's books. Have you read any of them? I was tempted to order a few. However, I think that I better stick to ordering the Catholic Mosaic books before going off on another book hunt.

I am just so pleased with the books that I have read so far. There is something about reading these books that just touches my soul deeply. Thank you so much for introducing these books to us. Many titles would have slipped by me if it wasn't for Catholic Mosaic.

Peace,

Oh, I like the look of some of those books! It's from an ORthodox standpoint, so they don't have the papal recognition, but some saints we share.

How do you approach books that come from other "sects" of the Catholic Church?

They do look very interesting. Ever since I attended my friend's Byzantine (not Orthodox) church, I have been so impressed by the reverence of their Liturgy. And those icons!! There are some very tempting books there.
I would think that books about saints that we have in common would be alright.
But maybe I'd better stick to getting all my Catholic Mosaic books first.

We have some of the books from there, and they are nice.
