Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi, all --

I hope it's acceptable to post this here -- and, I'm not sure where to post it, so am posting in Living Faith, and Fireside Chat.

I'm writing a short article for Our Sunday Visitor, about attending Mass as a family vs. splitting for various reasons. I'd like to fairly cover both points of view, and would like to hear from people in these three situations:

1. Never split up for Mass (except in case of illness)

2. Often split up (due to special needs, or a particular circumstance that warrants it)

3. Prefer to attend as a family but doesn't stress about splitting, or voluntarily splits now and then to give each spouse a "quiet Mass" (or anything else along those lines.)

If you can help me out, please send a private message, or go to my blog and email me from there.

Thanks so much everyone!
