Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone ever heard the Glory Story CD's? I've heard they are like "Catholic Adventures in Odyssey" but when I try to download them to listen to my computer wont let me. I'm thinking they might be a nice thing to listen to on trips. I'm interested in your opinions. I thing they are from www.catholicworldmissions.org. I'll check and try to post a link (I'm not so good at that sort of thing)

Okay, here's the location: http://www.catholicworldmission.org/site/pp.asp?c=9dJHJLPwB& b=2494
I'm not sure why I can't get it to work as a link.
The Glory Story CD's are on the right side.

We have a couple and really enjoy them. In fact I just got a couple more at our conference yesterday. I haven't told the kids yet as they would want to listen right away and I'm saving them for a trip this summer - travel listening. Anyway - they are well done and a very informative & fun way for children to learn about the saints.

I listened to the samples and they sound great! I will probably purchase some for my children when we can afford it.

I think the link you tried to use had a space in it Becky (between the & and b). This is probably the link you wanted? Glory Stories

Hi Becky,
we have a few of the Glory Stories. My boys really enjoy them. We like Adventures in Odyssey also, but have run into a few problems with them, such as the latest tape I bought dealt with William Tyndale. I digress.
If you want to listen to Glory Stories and are available at 7 am on Saturdays, or 7 pm Sunday nights,Ave Maria Radio plays them. You can listen online.
The people at Catholic World Mission, that sells them, are very helpful. BTW, if you can combine orders with others in your hs group or parish, they do give discounts for larger orders.
God Bless,

We just love them! I am ordering a few more (no conferences this year ) The kids always ask to listen to them.
Worth the money, no question about it!

They are a big hit in our house! If you have a Catholic radio station in your area, you may be able to listen to some of the stories on Saturday mornings (this is how we first learned about them and decided to buy the CDs and a few coloring books).

Another thumbs up here! Just got our first one last week to listen to on the way to and from school and the kids actually wanted to bring it in the house to finish! If my 4 yr old can sit in total silence to listen, then it realllllly has to be good.

We like them too...We use them in the car, especially on long trips. They keep all of us interested and they help pass the time. A quiet car makes travel so much nicer

Also, I like them because they are audio only. I really don't want to have a video player in the car, even if it brings about quiet kids. There is too much beautiful scenery that can be seen while driving that is missed with videos playing. (I don't particularly like videos playing not in the car either, but that's a different topic).
