Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anyone use it - if you can share how you broke down each week lesson plans! I know it is intended for a 1 time per week CCD class - so tell me how you adapted for homeschool!

We have confirmation in grade six so we do each F&L chapter over two days in order to have time for confirmation reading and activities.

Day 1 - child reads chapter

Day 2 - We go over the lesson using the _Faith and Life Series Family Guide Volume 2_.    It provides a bible reading, prompts you to summarize (I have the child tell me about the chapter first), review questions (May or may not be needed depending on narration), has questions on applying the lessons to real life and a number of follow up activities (which we may or may not do depending on the weeks schedule).

Leaving the other days for sacramental prep., reading about Saints, going over the Sunday readings, making Faith Folders, or using any of a number of other resources depending on age, interests, time of year and if I've decided it's time for another family project.
