I want to add some bible reading/study to our school day next school year and I'm researching some things I saw in the Emmanuel catalog.

I'm looking at the St. Joseph Bible Resource Series and Ignatius Study Bible Series. No samples! Anyone have a review of these? Or a recommendation for another? This is mainly for my oldest, but depending what we get the youngest may join in.

I really like the Ignatius Study Bible series. It is well done and readable.

The Great Adventure Bible Study for kids is nice, too. It comes with some nice supplements, like a card game which my kids have really enjoyed. It doesn't come with good instructions, though! But I found an instructional video on the website that has helped. It's a totally different method of Bible study, emphasizing giving kids to big picture of salvation history. Good stuff, I think.
