I was just looking through the Faith and Life Materials at the Ignatius website and found that the Teacher's Guides are on sale (from $47.95 to $31.95) through July.

We've been using F and L for three years now, but I haven't used a teacher's guide particularly because of the price.   I'm thinking for our next year (grade 5) it may be helpful. Has anyone found them helpful?

We are very blessed in that the local catholic store sells them for just $13 - but this is a great sale online!

Okay, where do you live? Just in case I'm nearby! I have bought the Grade 1 teacher's manual and I found it very helpful with enriching activities even at this basic level. I did not do *everything* but I did like it for what it's worth and I would buy them every year. Plan to keep them for my kids kids, etc. etc.

I used the 8th grade manual for my ds a couple of years ago and it was very helpful! I've often thought about getting the others but the price was a bit prohibitive. I'll have to check out the sale!

dakotamidnight, $13 is a great deal! I'd pay that plus shipping if possible to buy through your church. I'd like to get all the books for levels 2 and 3.

I believe you can actually order them online here: http://www.mycatholicstore.com/faitlifteacm.html

I haven't bought any yet from them as I've been able to find them used on bookmooch, so I don't 100% know they are the same but they are listed as the Teacher's manuals and I was told they are the same.

I just called the store, and found out these are the revised editions from 2003. I believe Ignatius Press just came out with new revisions for 2009/2010. Faith & Life
