Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My ds will be 5 next week. He is immature for his age and I believe he may have some sensory integration issues. That being said,...
I am looking for some Catholic Videos that he would enjoy. My plan for Religion for him next year is to get a lot of Bible story books, read them and see if he can tell me a little about the story afterwards or draw a picture to go with it. Well, at this point, he really doesn't like to sit still long enough for most stories unless they are about knights or something. Anyways, to my question finally...
Does anyone know of a good series of Catholic Videos for kids? I know he will watch a video, them maybe I can read a story that will go with it. He LOVES Veggie-Tales. They are okay, but sometimes the Bible story they are using gets changed so much it's hard to recognize! Besides that I would really like something that was more Catholic. Sooooo, to make a long question short...
Any suggestions about good Catholic Videos that a 5 yo would enjoy?
Thanks! Sorry to get so wordy for something so simple!

We have a few from Daughters of St. Paul - Bible Friends which has The Little Lost Lamb and St. Paul - Good Friend of Jesus. Saints for Kids and Children's Bible Series (we only have Daniel in the Lion's Den and I don't know if this series is Catholic but it does stick to the basic story in the Bible - at least the one we have). These videos are very short - the longest is 30 min. while the other 2 are about 10 - 15 minutes. These are definitely not your super polished or flashy type movies. We're not big into videos so low key works well with ours. Also, there are the CCC videos. Some of these are better than others and some were a bit intense for the real littles but ours do like St Nicholas and St. Patrick.

These are from back when our oldest was little so I don't know if they are still around. I find that the older children's movies are more simple and straight forward and we tend to like them better. Check with Daughter's of St. Paul

When my olders were little, they really liked the CCC videos as well, especially the one about St.Bernadette. I'm glad you brought it up because it reminds me I need to track them down again for my current little and my grandsons.

We love the CCC videos here too. Even my littles watch, and the first few times they usually want me to sit with them. Our favorite is St. Francis Xavier, but all we have are good. Here's a link CCC Saint Videos.

If you think he would enjoy them, Glory Stories are audio dramatizations of the lives of the saints. My kids did amazing narrations after hearing Joan of Arc. It took me days to write it out.

We love the Glory Stories. Speaking of audio, the kids really enjoy Cat Chat(Catholic kids radio drama).
