I'm looking for a book that is similar to the Windeatt or Vision series books on this saint. I can't find anything. I need something readable for a 9th grader. Any suggestions?

What about Thomas Finds a Treasure by Ecce Homo Press?
It is a bit more simplistic, but it might be a start. If you find anything else, I am all ears!

There is an OOP Vision book called "John Neumann The Children's Bishop" by Wlizabeth Odell Sheehan. I have no idea what copies are running price wise.

My husband read the above mentioned "Thomas Finds a Treasure" and we all really liked it.

Thank you, Kristen! I had no idea. I'll start hunting to see if I can find it. I don't need it till next year so I've got some time.

ETA: By having the exact title, I found it easily on Amazon, used, for a very reasonable price. Thank you!!! This board is amazing.

I had thought there might be an old Vision book but I couldn't remember and hadn't had time to check. That's good to know.
