Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Is anyone using this with their children? I was thinking it might be a nice way to dip into the Catechism. Maybe use the compendium questions to start and then when discussions and questions started up move to the Catechism and supporting documents. My dh was thinking about just reading a question and answer as a family each day.

I like that there is a section in the back with common prayers of the Church in vernacular and in Latin as well. I'm also excited about the Christian art included.

So has anyone bought this? Comments?
