Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

May I kindly ask what everyone's plans for April are going to be? Saint celebrations? Crafts? Tea time plans? Anything else?

We have coop at my house on Fridays and today we are having a planning session for the month of April. This is for 20 kids with an age range of 2 - 13.

We like to have a story/lesson/read aloud, followed by a craft/activity, lunch, then repeat the morning session on a different subject. At least one of the sessions we like to have be in some way faith based.

I'm thinking St. George (feast is 4/23) would be good...
Actually, I'd love an entire month with a medieval theme?

Anyhow. Just trawling for ideas...

Well our homeschool group is hoping for a nice day on april 10th so that we can have a picnic at the park. We've been stuck inside all winter and are just planning a relaxed day of sharing a picnic lunch and having some games the kids can play (soccer balls, footballs etc)

That medieval theme would be a lot of fun to run with.. all sorts of crafts, and history and saints and such.. there's the armour of God stuff to go along with St. George.. and Chivalry and... fun fun fun
