Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It's a beautiful book Chari. Well worth buying. I doubt it will have much (if anything) that you don't already know but it's wonderfully affirming. I read it a few months ago (June I think) and as I am still nursing it certainly was a boost.

It would make a great gift for a new mom!

God bless!

Michele,

I should have known YOU would have already had your hands on this book.

I did not expect to learn much    ...but I had hoped it would add some words of wisdom to my mind, for helping others breastfeed.........especially since I come across the occasional Catholic mom who does not give breastfeeding a chance......or only for a few weeks

I would like to be more inspiring

plus..........I have not read a good breastfeeding book in awhile..........

I can LEND it to new moms

Thanks.....I will order it by mail on Monday!

Enjoy that little critter!

Chari,
I have Breastfeeding and Natural Child Spacing by Kippley. That one was a good read and taught me how important those night time feedings are! We have used breast feeding as our main way of child spacing for the last 3 children and they are all close to 2 years apart.

Off topic...do you have any idea where the circle letter is stuck at?
I thought it would have come back around by now, but then again we sure did wait a long long time for it to come back around the first time didn't we??
