Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For those that have completed a First Holy Communinion notebook can you tell me how you did the page on "The Order of the Mass"? I am at a creative loss for how to do this with my son this week.

I'm terribly visual so if you have a picture that would be great also

Leslie,

Instead of doing a FHC page on the order of the mass I found a link Order of the Mass: Basic Texts with the prayers and had dd cut them out and put them back in order making her own missel on cardstock. Then I stitched it together (yes, paper) to bind it and she decorated the cover and pages with liturgical stickers etc. I'll try to find it for Friday.
The other idea I had for a single page (but didn't do) was to make a sort of pie chart/wheel of the different sections of the Liturgy i.e. Introductory Rites Liturgy of the Word, and a short description/picture representing it. I would take another piece of cardstock (colored) and cut a circle to form the wheel 'cover' with a section removed to display one 'liturgical' section. It would look like pac-man and be attached to the other sheet with a brad in the middle so it could rotate through the Order of the Mass. Clear as Mud? We did something like this with dd for a book club project showing a progression of time and it turned out well. Just a few ideas.
