I'm very interested in incorporating CGS in our homeschool with my five year old daughter. I see CGS ideas posted on blogs, yahoo forums, and this forum. I would like to know:
1) What are the steps others took in incorporating this into their homes.
2) Is there a sight that explains the how-tos on making your own figures for ALL the lessons? I see bits and pieces. I've never seen the whole picture.
3) Is there a book that easily explains how to approach ALL the lessons, so I don't have to spend money on so many books.

I think for most people, they have taken baby steps in implementing a CGS approach in the home. I know we are creeping along ever so slowly. 
As far as I know, there is not a site that shows you the how-tos for all lessons.
Your best bet would probably be to get your hands on Moira Farrell's Home Catechesis Manuals for ages 3-6 and 6-9, which are available through Our Father's House. Scroll down towards the bottom. I'm not sure these lessons are pure CGS, but they do give instructions for many lessons, patterns for making certain items, and in a way that's easy to do in the home.

Yes to what Valerie said, and search this forum for other discussions. Keep in mind that many trained catechists do NOT believe that CGS "should" be done by untrained people in the home. Many trained Montessori educators likewise believe that "Montessori" materials should only be presented by trained educators. I disagree with both positions and have had a WONDERFUL experience using Montessori & CGS materials in our home. But their point to take is that you should expect this type of work to involve preparation & research on your part. I think Moira's 3-6 album is a great place to start. It's the ONLY thing out there available for those of us who cannot take CGS training.
