Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone here regularly take part in or coordinate a Eucharistic Holy Hour for children at their parish? If so, any good ideas or hints?

We're going to our first one at the end of the month. We used to go to perpetual adoration every Saturday at 5 am, when we had two kids. They were really good and quiet (and sometimes, continued to sleep). So now that I have 5 and 8, I'd need some ideas and hints as well.

Thanks in advance!

About seven years ago some women at our church started adoration for kids using booklets from a group called "Armata Bianca." (I have the name and address of where you can buy books for $2 each.) The books tell the story of Fatima, and encourage children to offer up all their hardships/troubles for the Sacred Heart, Immaculate Heart, and conversion of sinners. Each week we ask for prayer intentions, pray the Rosary, and say the Fatima prayers (the ones the angel taught the children) and if time allows, a Litany of Loreto to our Lady and a few other prayers in the book like St. Michael, Angel of God, etc. We ususally finish with singing Holy God We Praise Thy Name. Our time slot is 45 minutes and noisy kids are welcome, but not running around.

Ages are birth-12, and we have a LifeTeen adoration time that is right before our time slot that is for ages 13 and up.

Oh, we also have a travelling large statue of Our Lady of Fatima that goes from house to house each week.
