Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What is a prayer cloth? In Acts 19:11-12, it speaks of how cloths (aprons and handkerchiefs) were touched to Peter and Paul and taken back to the sick who were often cured of their ills. It says that "God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul; so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them." Prayer cloths are sacramentals.

How do I pray with a prayer cloth? In many places, the custom exists to place the prayer cloth on a special table and to place petitions on the cloth as well as pictures of our loved ones and those in need of spiritual or physical healing. The prayer cloth may also be placed directly on the sick person or held while praying. Prayer cloths can be used for the dying, the ill, the aged, the lonely and fearful, cures of all kinds, conversions, consolations of soul and body, family difficulties, burials, calamities, special occasions, and devotional praying.

Basically it is a sacramental, a blessed object, just like a rosary or medal. It is literally a cloth with an image on it. I have received some from the apostolate you linked to. I know the lady that runs it, Wendy, and she is the most devout, faithful, wonderful mom of 12 you'll ever meet. She does a lot of pro-life work. I'd suggest you get one! Always nice to have an extra sacramental around to inspire prayer.
