Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Some might remember how I use little saint's images for the children to place daily on their Liturgical Calendar Wheel (from LTP) I had made a saints sheet for each month with Stef making January and February.

I was emailing these files monthly to some women and then in the new year, I sort of got interrupted with it all when my husband said I was crazy to be send such big files and over the following weeks, he reduced their size without effecting the quality of the little picture...

My husband thought there had to be an easier way to do all this...So I have uploaded onto my blog the saints sheets for June and July and when the month of June is passed I will remove the June sheet and add August and one it will go, throughout the year.

Here is my link to the new posting about all this and please feel free to save these files for your own use.

The actual saints sheets are in my side bar up the top of my blog.

Thanks so much. We have the same calendar as in your picture. I have a good friend who gives me one each year for Christmas

It'll be so nice to put a "face to the name", so to speak!

How generous of you to share!

Thanks for doing this!! It is wonderful!!

I've never used a Liturgical Wheel so please forgive my silly question; if I buy the wheel you have now, will it only be useful until the end of the year?

So sorry not to have gotten back sooner Melissa! The LTP one is only for that year as they release a new one each year. So if you bought one now, you would continue on until you got to the beginning of Advent.

If you were still interested in getting one anyway and just filling in the little pictures up until this point in time (filling in 1/2 a year's worth) I can always email you the months you would need for that - just pm me if you would like them for that purpose.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Annie!!

I had purchased the small-sized (11x17) liturgical wheel, so we've been putting the pictures on our desk-sized calendar that we keep on a wall in our kitchen. My dd is in the habit of checking and announcing to the family the saint of the day and your pictures are such a wonderful addition to this!!

Thank you, again!!!!

Thank you, Annie, for sharing this. It is a wonderful addition to celebrating the Liturgical year.

Somewhat OT, do you read *all* those books you've shared from your calendar list of your Saints books? maybe I should ask...how do you use the list? do you always read a story about the saint on his/her feast day?

(sorry if I'm not making sense...I'm wrestling Teresa & typing w/ one hand. I'll try to rephrase later if I'm not making sense    )

No, great question Michaela! Some days, as you probably noticed there is only one or two books to read from, this is no troubles, on the occasion (and there is quite a few) there is a very big listing of what I have to choose from, I will pick the ones I like best. But I do find myself enjoying reading quite a few of them.

My husband finally got a program that has my daily books pop up on desktop, I just have to go over to my liturgical/catholic children reading bookcase and grab what I need.

I don't do all the things listed when it comes to liturgical cooking though - but it is a reminder to me that there is a meal for that particular saint of the day if I want it - otherwise I'd never know what was really in the liturgical cooking/living books, unless it popped up on the screen to remind me.

So the list has two purposes - to allow me to put my hand immediately on the books I want to read from that day - but also a reminder of what is available if I felt like doing it (recipe for the day or some craft activity.)

And THAT was a big revelation for me, just to know what I had. Stories, activities, recipes that I would have NEVER utilized properly just because I didn't know of it's existance in my big bookcase, amongst the pages of all those books.
