Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We can't seem to draw around here! Stick figures give us problems! Dh on the other hand draws well but can't figure out how to teach us. I'm looking for a drawing book that could help us with drawing people. Any suggestions?

My boys used to use the Draw 50 series. The series contains several titles for drawing people. Some of the books are more complicated/advanced and some are easier to follow.

My boys also started with a lot of tracing from picture books and comic books. Then they progressed to looking at the pictures and drawing what they saw.

I absolutely LOVE the Draw Write Now series. Not sure if that's too youngish for what you want. ??

We love Draw Write Now too. That's what my boys started with -- again, tracing when they were very young and then just following along.
