Hi Ladies,
We've really enjoyed the book THE GIFT OF MUSIC to give us some background into the life and faith of famous composers. I have found that many other resources leave out the faith of the composers and are not as helpful in learning about the worldview of times the composer lived in.

Is there a similar book or resource out there for famous artists? It would be nice to know more of the intimate details of the artist's worldview and faith and to see how these impacted the artists' works. Does such a thing exist? Let me know! THank you much!

I just ordered THE HISTORY OF ART FOR YOUNG PEOPLE to give me some of the cultural background and other details but it would be so nice to find a book sharing the worldview and faith of the artists.

Does anyone use and like THE HISTORY OF ART?
