Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Way cool but did you listen to it? Ouch!

Last month, "stef in pa" posted it and we were all disappointed in the sound...Legos

(I'm glad that you posted it again -- more people will see it this time around, I'm sure )

Oooh, I did an initial search and didn't come up with it! Sorry for the duplicate posts! It's a good thing for the March composer...tying in the harpsichord. Plus there are useful links on the history of the harpsichord.

It did sound pretty awful. Just vaguely familiar of what it should sound like. My brother thought it sounded like a sitar, but I'm not sure about how a sitar is supposed to sound!

Just think George Harrison just before the Beatles broke up and then right after.

Ahh, Mary, I never was a Beatles fan. I only know some songs in passing. Every once in a while I realize "Oh, THAT is a Beatles song?" I probably know more than I think, but I don't know ANYTHING about their timeline! Got a few song titles to give me a clue? Is this their Hari Krishna song?

Hear the sitar at Anoushka Shankar's website. she's Ravi's daughter, and is amazing on the sitar.
