We really like the lyra ferby pencils better than crayons in this house. They are great, chubby for small hands, and thick leads that last a long time without sharpening and don't break.

For the Lyra lovers....they have a new Ferby pencil called 3 in 1...they are softer and color like crayons, but can be wet and used like a watercolor pencil...they are huge hits around here...the set comes with a silver and gold...their use is the subject of many--ahem--friendly debates!

I ended up ordering from Paper, Scissors, Stone. The package arrived today and I'm so pleased! I want to keep the crayons all for myself...

I know what you mean Jennifer. Just tie them up with a pretty bow and put them in a lovely vase as the centerpiece on your dinner table.    I love mine too!
