Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anyone have some suggestions for neat books about Collage-making...or suppliers for stuff? I have a nearly 10 yo dd who loves to do collage-y projects and would love some new inspiration for her birthday.

Kathleen

Klutz Press has the You Can Make A Collage one with Eric Carle type inspiration.

And I hesitate to recommend this one because it appears to be OOP and available only at ghastly prices, but this Step-by-Step art series is excellent and we have used many of the volumes from our library.

For a supply idea, I've been saving dust jackets of picture books for a collage sometime in the future. I only harvest those that have an identical cover underneath.

I saw that they had this one at our library so when we were there today I checked it out. It is a good one - has a lot of different tideas using a variety of media for the collages. I Love to Collage!

I thought this kit looked fun as well. Whenever I hear collage I do think of decopage (call me a girl of the 70's!). Every Kid Needs Mod Podge
