Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

i love the clay i got from Michael Olaf, and the tools that came with it. There's one tool that i'm not sure what to do with, or at what age a child could use it. Any advice is welcome to this very inexperienced art teacher! it's basically one long wire connected at each end to wooden spindles. i assume it's for cutting, but how are you supposed to do it, stretch your arms out and pull it taught?

Its not for kids. You need to have strong hands!

You can wrap it around your fingers or hands to make it shorter. Yes, you need it taut! You'll get the hang of it!

Have fun!

This is used for cutting chunks of clay off of large blocks. You wrap it around, and pull and eventually it cuts through. It is quite handy.
