Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am wondering if anyone would be willing to share where to find quality water colors? I saw the link about the beeswax crayons and am planning to purchase those, but I am at a loss for finding the "right" art supplies beyond that. Previously, I thought I was doing good buying Crayola instead of Roseart or some other generic brand, I have long wanted to give my children quality artist supplies but have feared they wouldn't last long and with cost being somewhat of an issue...I just haven't really done it yet. I did spring for the PrismaColor colored pencils 2yrs ago which we have enjoyed but are now ready to be replaced...so any suggestions? or advice on what to look for? Thanks, in advance.

Do you have a Waldorf school near you? They sell supplies that are awesome.

Prang is a step up in quality from the Crayola and Roseart so is good choice particularly for the younger set. Thisis mostly what we used to get started. Prang is going to be available at most craft or even discount stores like Target.

For higher quality, the art program we use, Artistic Pursuits, recommends Cotman and Grumbacher which they say give good color results without being too pricey. These would be available on-line or in art stores. Dick Blick is usually a good place for decent prices.
