Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What would be your favorite resources for teaching Church history, in one year, to a high schooler? He is taking European History and European Lit at a homeschool co-op, but I'm needing to give him church history as well. Any suggestions would be welcome! Thanks!

Triumph: The Power and the Glory of the Catholic Church: A 2,000-Year History by H. W. Crocker III is a living book that we use for High School Church history.

We couple it with other resources like Church History by Fr. John Laux, Characters of the Inquisition by William Thomas Walsh, Charactors of the Reformation by Hilaire Belloc and The Facts about Luther by Msgr. Patrick F. O'Hare, LL.D.

Oh and a newer one that we haven't used yet but heard good things about is How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization by Thomas E. Woods Jr

God bless!
