Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have in the past.

It was fun but but doesn't have a lot of meat to it by itself.

The items sent are small, inexpensive trinkets along with a newsletter covering basic facts and stickers. The world map sent has been the most used item from the program.

That said, it helped trigger independent research of the different countries at a time when I didn't have the energy or time to plan a geography program.

What ekbell shared is true for us as well. One of my boys was very excited about the whole idea of something coming in the mail, though, and took responsibility for the pieces, etc. I wish I would have put a bit more effort into creating nice geography lessons which wouldn't have taken much more effort.

Ditto all that has been said. My kids loved getting the packages in the mail and enjoyed those, but they could not be a stand alone geography program.

The educational games on line for each country were just OK- my kids liked them, but they were a bit limited, IMO, and clunky... though this was about 3-4 years ago; maybe they have been updated.

As a supplement, I thought Little PassPorts was great fun for my kids, and I would use it again. (we used it to supplement CHC geography). But once was enough- we have not been tempted to try any of their other programs.
