Has anyone used the Chester Comix series for teaching history?

My ds loves anything written in comic book style.

I'm of no help here, but have been wondering the same thing. My ds LOVES comic book style (especially Asterix and TinTin).

We have almost all of them. I used them in a club a friend and I taught to a crew of 4th/5th graders about Virginia state history. We read them aloud and they really liked them.
