Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm looking into the Literature guide from Beautiful Feet Books using the Holling C. Holling books.

Would this be a good fit for DS who will be in 3rd grade? What about DD who will be in 1st grade? Maybe she can just tag along...

Thanks!

Hi Lindsey,
my kids 2nd, 4th, and 5th just did this and loved it. I didn't do each and every activity but each child did their own map and it turned out great. Your first grader will enjoy the stories and may like coloring the maps too.
I had the kids trace their own map before we started on filling it in so I wasn't stressed about perfection.

Have fun,
Aagot

My second grader is reading the books, but I did the activities with my 5th grader because I thought they were more appropriate for that age.

Thank you both. I think we will wait a few years, then.
