Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am part of pilot program for a Charlotte Mason curriculum. Upon first glance, many of the History books look like ones used at AmbleSide Online, which I have heard have an Anti-Catholic bias. I am not personally familiar with the following books. I would like to ask the help of anyone that has read them if you would consider them to be appropriate for Catholic's to read and/or what needs to be discussed or aware of.

THanks so much for all of your help!!!!

Thanks Suzanne, I remember this discussion, but I didn't follow up with a search of previous topics.
