Hi - has anyone used the Junior History Portfolios? We've used the original versions; they were good, but a little too much writing for my youngest, so I'm considering purchasing the junior ones.
Basically, I'm heading away from texts, and even SOTW, as my poor youngest ones are so bored, and simply not learning the material.
We need picture books, a timeline, some map-work, and a notebook.
Or, are there any good notebooking pages available online? I'm tempted by the Junior portfolios, but it does become costly with the shipping from the US.

 Why, yes.....we actually just dissected EVERY.SINGLE.NOTEBBOOKING PAGE available a couple of months ago  :

Is this the Junior History Portfolio?
I'm unfamiliar with it, but it looks interesting.
I do use a lot of the notebooking pages that Suzanne linked! They're amazingly affordable, and so nice.
My 5th grader's year this year is themed and we're calling it A Year of Knights and Explorers. I found some amazing living books for him to read - some that lived on our shelves already, and a few old Landmark books I found. Anyway, he's very excited because he's building a notebook with the World Explorers Notebooking pages. Because it's a downloadable pdf, shipping isn't a problem for you!
Blackline Maps by Knowledge Quest are my favorite printable maps...and also downloadable for you!
Timelines or Book of Centuries are easy to do at home without necessitating any purchase. There are some great free downloads for these as well. Here's a great thread detailing some wonderful ideas for making use of a Book of Centuries, and there are some great links at the end of that thread for downloading Book of Century pages.
I'm hoping someone will have some input for you about the Junior History Portfolios, but I wanted to tag onto Suzanne's post and give you some options that seem like they might work for your needs. Hope it's a help!

And, Linda.....those History Portfolios...the ones Jen linked at least, are the third history "notebooking pages" that Theresa linked in that other thread.
