Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone know of an activity guide that goes with the time period (pre-revolutionary upto WWII). There are activities in the text, but they are not exactly what I like for hands on, as in making things. For those of you who have used this book or studied this time period how did you bring it to life. Thanks, Valerie

How about lots of living books for this period? Add in a timeline and mapwork? Go visit some of the historical sites?

Thanks Marilyn, We do the living books and timeline work, but we could and should add the mapwork.

Anyone have any arts/crafts ideas for this time period???? American Revolution upto WWII.

Thanks, Valerie

I haven't tried these but they look good. They are hands-on activities for different time periods. There are only a few right now but you could use the one on A. Rev. and early 19th century. Time Travelers
