Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

before starting Algebra I? My goal this year is to have my oldest ready for Algebra I by the next school year. I'm looking at all the material we have yet to go through and we won't make that goal. Before I decide if that goal is unrealistic, I need to know what topics in math need to be mastered before starting Algebra I. This will let me know if we don't need to do all the lesson or if we will have to wait until half way through 9th grade before starting.
