Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Lessons? I've had this book on my self (the one from Hillside) and I would love to use. The problem is once I sit down to do a lesson I don't care too much for the style and it gets dropped. I really need to focus on grammar this year! I hate to say that my boys are "behind" but their grammar skills are lacking. ILL seems to cover a variety of topics and skills and I think it is what I'm looking for to do some introduction with my youngest. I know my oldest would benefit and fill in some gaps for him. He may think he is too old for it though.

I'm not sure how to approach it and I'm interested to hear how others use it.

With my older two it returned to the shelf after a short usage. This had more to do with my constant chopping and changing, rather than a real issue with the programme. With ds10 I have been more consistent, and I am really enjoying it! We use it with CHC Language of God, but we don't do the CHC composition pages. Could you do so something similar, by using a grammar workbook a few days a week? We only do CHC three times a week, which with PLLs gentle style is certainly manageable.

They have a composition book that holds all their copy work and in the back we have a section for primary or intermediate language lessons.

I'm rather boring I guess bc I just do what the lesson says to do. Some days we do a few lessons, some days we only do one.

Like most things consistency matters more than people give it credit.
