Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Okay, is it necessary to do follow-up workbook pages with LA Readers. My daughter is learning to read fine with magnetic letters and the readers, but the fine motor skills for writing are not quite there and some of the concepts in the workbook are a little over her head. Do we need to do workbook pages to solidify whatever concept she's working on that day? Or, can I let the workbook go? I keep worrying I'm going to mess her up for life if she doesn't learn to read the "right" way.

We don't do the workbooks, just the readers, and I haven't messed up anyone yet
I understand your fears and have them too, but try to realize that curriculum choices are simply tools to help us teach. We have to pick and choose the ones that work for us as well as to discard or not use the ones that don't.
Both of my readers started reading before the fine motor skills were there. Workbooks made no sense. With the first, I admit, we did level A workbook orally, but it seemed like busywork to me.

Hope that helps
Christine
