Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I use a mixture of CMM/Ambleside, Montessori & Rod & Staff. Pretty eclectic I'd say. Years back I was solely CMM/Ambleside but then added Montessori & then Rod & Staff into the mix. I love all 3 & the children loved them too so I decided to just combine all of them into our homeschooling adventures. 15 years & still going strong! Anyone else like me? I am happy to meet you all. I was so glad to find other homeschooling moms like myself. So excited about this new school year.

Nice to meet you, too. I would say that lots of us here are pretty eclectic as well - with some root or connection in Charlotte Mason. I started out sort of unschooly-John Holt, then gravitated to CM methods/philosophy to some degree, and now a bit more classical in some areas - so am like you in being a combo of approaches. Homeschooling is great in that way, in that it can be very flexible for those who don't fit a mold. And 4 Real is a place to find some of us folks.
