Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Wondering if there are any recent users of the CM Organizer at Simply Charlotte Mason. (Saw the posts from a year or two ago). This seems like it would fit our needs perfectly for this year, and I'm getting ready to subscribe to the free trial.

Are any of you using it currently? Any feedback? Anyone use it and not like it? Any glitches I should be aware of? The only negative reviews I have found anywhere have been about the cost. For me this year the benefit of it addressing our scheduling needs and helping my eleven year old with some time management issues will be well worth the cost. I'd love to hear from some veteran users.

Thanks!
CM OrganizerSimply Charlotte Mason

I liked it but not the cost. I've used Homeschool Tracker for several years and am very happy with it.

I tried it but I didn't "love" it. The cost was an issue for me. Also, when you have a family read-aloud, that book doesn't appear on any of the children's individual reports. I think it should appear on every child's individual report. At least, it was that way in the spring when I tried it.

I use Remember the Milk. I got a premium subscription ($25/ year or 1/4 the cost of the CM planner). I enter, view, check off and print tasks on my iMac. Plus I can enter, view and check off tasks on my iPhone, which will be extremely handy as my computer is nowhere near the dining room where we do seat work. I can tag tasks to different children and subjects. I also use it to schedule my household routines.

The downside v. CM Planner is that nothing is pre-entered for me, like all of those books at CM. But they don't have any Catholic resources there anyway (or very few, none of mine).
